We continue to give thanks to everyone who has been helping our family these last day. We have definitely been feeling the overwhelming blessing of the communion of saints. Our thanks also go to all those who have been praying for Nathan and Aileen. We ask that you please also remember our girls in your prayers, especially Rebecca. While they each handle things differently they are both very much struggling.

Marietta is our strong one, while she may cry occasionally she can go on and she is our helper. Rebecca has spent the last (almost) three years struggling very much to get over the loss of her brother, James. While the blog has been silent on this, mostly for the sake of Rebecca, it has been a long and difficult battle for her, struggling through grief, depression, counselling and doctors. We have been very thankful the last four months that we had finally made some serious progress towards her feeling happier and coping better. At this time she has been snowballed back into the reality of this fragile life that we live in. While we are all struggling and we all have our questions and doubts at moments, and we all are in need of your prayers at this time, please say an extra prayer for the girls, especially Rebecca, that they may be able to cope and make it through this difficult time.

Thinking and praying for you all during this difficult time. May you be continually surrounded by God's loving arms. Praying for your girls too. They have had so much to deal with at such young ages. Praying that Rebecca also feels Gods arms wrapped around her. Hugs and love to you all!

Thinking of you in this time. Sure it brings back memories which of course never goes away. May we be comforted in God and praying for you all in this time.

Thinking and praying for you all at this time - for the girls and also for you as parents who see your children struggling. May God grant you the wisdom to help them in their situations.

During our morning devotions the other day, our kids were faced with the overwhelming reality of what is happening to your family, and were struck as well at how quickly things can (and have) changed for Nathan's family. I can only imagine how difficult it is for your kids, especially Rebecca, to see loved ones go through such a trying time. We will continue to pray that the Lord will wrap his loving arms around you all.

Dear Steph,
we have been praying for Nate, the Dr's, Aileen and the children as well as strength for your family and Aileens. we will most certainly pray for your girls, especially Rebecca. I cant even imagine how hard this is for all of you let alone a child who has gone through so much in such a short time. We pray that the Lord will guide her and strengthen her as well. Lots of love,
Mike, Sherry, Malakai and Levi.

You've all had so much to deal with already. And that was one of my first thoughts for your family - your parents, too. Of course, for a child it is probably more difficult in some ways. Thank you for sharing this - now we can pray more specifically for your needs.
