Knitting

For some time Marietta has wanted to learn how to knit and crochet ... but unfortunately for her I do not do either of those, and to be honest, it doesn't much interest me to learn either.

So it was nice that Grandma W was able to come down and spend a day with the girl and teach them how to knit. I actually did not think that Rebecca would be all that interested or stick it out for the day, but she did ... and she did a good job too.

The problem is that they need to do it regularly in order to remember how to do it and to learn how to fix their mistakes. Grandma W was hardly out the driveway and they both ran into problems which they couldn't fix ... and obviously I couldn't either. Guess that means they'll have to wait until Lesson #2 ... whenever that will be.
